Rather helpless without Pearl [Pearl Brooksmith].

     

Took Maud [Amslie] to dinner.

     

Saw Bracewell in full eruption. A stench of disease & iodoform made the Piccacilly Lounge like a sewage farm. Faugh! But he was punctual & talked sense & business.

     

Agreed to pay Maud Amslie £3.
