Met Bobby [Barfoot]. Opus[1] for Friday lunch (= Frieda [Frieda Harris]).

     

All appointments came right in P.M.

     

Letter from Toyne [Gabriel Toyne]: he'll be at lunch.

     

Ate with Fitzgerald [Edward Noel Fitzgerald].

     

Back to Yi.

     

Picked up Sullivan's "Gallio" for 3d.

     

Very exhausted & anxious: felt death in the air. Afraid it was Pearl [Pearl Brooksmith].
