Aleister Crowley Diary Entry Tuesday, 7 April 1942
[I Ching hexagram] 56. (Stick 1 dropped on floor).
Pearl [Pearl Brooksmith] here—In good form. But she has had lots of “business”—so all I saw of her was tea. She cleared up the [Mrs.] Hubard squabble, though.
Miserable letter from Frieda [Frieda Harris]. By arrogance, and domineering, and bullying her supposed inferiors, she does not compensate for her cringing fear of the foul Jew she married. Oh how they have to pay for dodging The Boyg!
Somehow I’m completely miserable: F.H. [Frieda Harris] & cash mostly—that or
Pearl brought (a) Snips (b) Pola [th?atesi GK]!

Weather variegated.
Tot: 1 gr. [Heroin].
