Aleister Crowley Diary Entry Wednesday, 19 January 1944
[I Ching hexagram] 35.
Ch[iswick] Pres sent proofs at last!
Having asked F.H. [Frieda Harris] for a lunch a deux I was amazed when Bryant [Edward Bryant] walked in! Upset all plans, of course.
12 F.H. Potomac Sid Field. Moselle.
[in pencil:-] (1) Orange wine with Moselle in it: before distilling it. T.B. [Edward Bryant] (2) Moselle or Hungarian white wine.
“Strike a new note” with Sid Field. Not so much enjoyable at the time, but a source of lasting pleasure: it goes on for 5 hours every day, and I don’t have to be there!
