Aleister Crowley Diary Entry

Friday, 25 August 1944

[I Ching hexagram] 34.

Chits from F.H. [Frieda Harris], the Bryant [Edward Bryant] vermin

Fairclough—no Book.

[Heroin] came—had borrowed 2 1/4 gr[ain]s from reserves.

Weather bloody as usual; cleared later.

Walk: in very clear sky, saw new moon; greeted her with turquoise & silver ring, Gayatri thrice, & offered 40/- in silver.

Later, met 3 white pigs in the woodland; 2 minutes later, a fourth came along. Omen. I think very wonderfully good.
