Chess v.[ersus] Kirk [Wilfred H. Kirk] 0-1. The First game I had no [Heroin]: took one, & played 2nd admirably. v.[ersus] Watson [Herbert Watson] at home. Gave Q.[ueen] & won easily, without a tremor.
