Another great Gale.
Young Piper reported that his car was warmer than the Chess Club
Chess v.[ersus] Watson[1] (Q) 1-0. Another A1 game, nearly all pawns gone; I gave up a R.[ook] for 3 minor pieces & a further attack; finally won his Q.[ueen] & broke his heart.
Matthews thinks the long strain of root-extraction accounts for my chronic depression.
