With Righi [Alcesti de Righi]. Summer at the Deputy Commissionner's house where we tell him about the accident in our own way; there is also the chief of police there. Then we go to the bank where I take what little I have there. again. The D.C. advises us to give 100 Rupees to the parents of the 3 dead and their salaries. Righi has the generous idea of offering to pay me his share of the death benefit and so does Reymond [Charles-Adolphe Reymond]. Typical cheques.
