Floyd E. Wade

Born: Unknown.

Died: Unknown.

Floyd Wade owned a 640-acre parcel of land in Rainbow Valley, California. He was introduced by Louis Culling to Wilfred Talbot Smith and considered offering his land to the O.T.O. to develop as a working farm to serve as a retreat from the materialist world and a center of spiritual harmony. Floyd had read Aleister Crowley The Diary of a Drug Fiend and was inspired by the fantasy of the Abbey of Thelema and wished to make it a reality.

Wilfred Talbot Smith and Regina Kahl, along with Roy and Rhea Leffingwell visited Floyd Wade at his ranch on 28 August 1939 and celebrated the Gnostic Mass in the open air. They then initiated Floyd into the O.T.O. in the Minerval and Degrees.
