Golden Twigs
Golden Twigs was prepared for publishing, reached the page proof stage, and there stalled. Six of the Eight stories contained in this volume were originally published by Crowley between October 1917 and April 1918 during his stint as the editor of The International. A Mandrake Press catalogue dated May 1930 lists Golden Twigs as planned for publication that very month. Unfortunately the Mandrake Press venture soon turned sour and the book was never published during his lifetime. The two remaining unpublished stories were eventually published in 1988 in an edition edited by Martin P. Starr and published by the Teitan Press.
