Edward Alexander Crowley, hereby declares that Mrs. Pearl Brooksmith of 68 [illegible] W.1. is the sole present owner of the complete copyrights of the "Simple Simon" series of detective stories, featuring Simon Iff. I have no objection to their being sold to a third party on her behalf, the author's name being given as Edward Kelly. Any proposed alterations in the text to be submitted for my approval, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
