Correspondence from Wilfred Talbot Smith to Aleister Crowley

. . . Friday and Saturday we put on the First, and the eight Minervals were successfully put through. All except Mrs. Leffingwell [Rhea Leffingwell] are youngsters, and I am much better pleased with this group than that of several years ago, which mainly consisted of would-be occultists that Russell [C. F. Russell] had helped to mess up.

The household here now consists of Jane [Jane Wolfe] and sister [Mary K.], Regina [Regina Kahl], Lew Carroll [Luther Carroll], Margaret Arnold, Phyllis Seckler and her 3 months baby girl, and self. Quite a crowd. But if you need a domicile I can still make room for you, if you desire you shall have a room to yourself.

Love is the law, love under will.

Yours fraternally
