A very economical day.

     

Kept on saving small sums which I had expected to have to spend.

Letter of warm thanks from Jameson [John B. Jameson].

     

FitzG. [Edward Noel Fitzgerald] here 10 P.M. with lump of veal as usual.

     

Couldn't find O.T.O. papers or Golden Twigs.
