Death of Frater S.[emper] P.[aratus] [James Thomas Windram].
Quiet lunch with J.B.J. [John B. Jameson] for him to meet Gabriel Toyne. Frieda [Frieda Harris] there. Shanghai [restaurant].
J.B.J. went straight back to Hasker St., violently threw out Peggy [Peggy Wetton] into one room in a foul slum, although she still cannot wear a shoe, & shot off.
Quiet chess with novice.
Quiet dinner, chess with Barnes.
