Aleister Crowley Diary Entry

Friday, 14 April 1939

[I Ching hexagram] 26.

3 a.m. woke after two quite separate (?) nightmares; in the latter, very long, vivid & detailed, I was in two air raids on the S. Coast, E. of Eastbourne (?Hastings).

1 1/4 o'c. Ruby [Melville] to lunch. Cath. [Catherine Falconer] made a fine turbot salad, but my chili con carne beat both.

Peggy [Peggy Wetton] got Pachisis (?) from J.B.J. [John B. Jameson].

Nice dinner: then she got at it again.

Peggy Young Basement 87 Gloucester St. SW1.
