[I Ching hexagram] 46.

Munro writes that he can get £40 for me—less 15% for him.

12 o'c Picc. Lounge for La bete humaine.

OFF—again! I had to go to lunch with Tzaba [Frieda Harris].

A supremely good א  &a נ: but what of [Aleph's] Thyrsus? I must think.

Quiet dinner with Cath. [Catherine Falconer]: Peggy [Peggy Wetton] raving because I wouldn't take her out, blind drunk. Even Ruby [Melville] fed up.

With C. [Cathrine Falconer] to A Slight Case of Murder. Excellent film: one of Edw[ar]d. G. [Robinson]'s best.
