Gulls' Eggs Macassar. Cut the eggs into quarters. Sprinkle with red pepper. Garnish with Macassar fish. Cover with cream.
All sorts of annoyances with printer & obstructions.
Peggy [Peggy Wetton] very seriously ill: acute gastritis (ulcer threatened) pleurisy & near-cirrhosis of the liver.
Lunch: Gabriel [Gabriel Toyne] here.
Saw Watkins & "M. Juste" [Michael Juste].
Took Catherine [Catherine Falconer] to dinner at White Tower. [Louis] Fox there.
On to Ruby's [Melville]: fell in love with Jean Baird.
