Correspondence from Frank Bennett to Aleister Crowley
Brazilian Consulate General For the Commonwealth of Australia Sydney N.S.W. Sydney, N.S.W.
May 17th 1916.
Care Frater and Most Illustrious Sir Knight.
We beg to acknowledge your letter dated April 4th [#1 & #2] from New York City, in regard to our letter concerning the working of the A∴A∴ in Australia, and note that you suggest that we deal directly with Frater F[iat]. P[ax]. c/o Sir G. M. Cowie [George MacNie Cowie], Edinburgh. We thank you for the information you have given us, and by this same mail we are in receipt of a letter from Sir G. M. Cowie enclosing a copy of the Manifesto of the New Law, and advising us that the instructions for same will reach us thro Sir James Windram at South Africa, and that he is writing him to that effect. These we are now awaiting. We would be very glad if you would consent to a consignment of all the necessary books being forwarded to us for the working of the A∴A∴ on the understanding that payment for same will be made from time to time as they are disposed of. This would be a great help to us at the beginning.
Saluting you I am in the Bonds of the Order.
Fraternally yours
[Elevenfold Cross] Frank Bennett VII O.T.O. Grand Secretary General for Australasia.
Care Frater and most Illustrious Sir Knight Crowley Praemonstrator O.M. 7º = 4o
