Although not generally known for
his artwork Charles Stansfeld Jones was an accomplished artist
who was a distinguished Portrait Painter and was exhibited at
the Royal Cambrian Academy (see
Catalog, pp. 56 & 100), Derby, Birmingham, Royal Institute London, and the
Vancouver Art Gallery, Vancouver, B.C. He was also a member of
the Society of Miniaturists.
At present we do not have any examples
of his art but only catalogs and newspaper clippings to document
its existence. |
