Rose Kelly completes her two-month treatment for alcoholism and she and Crowley go to visit his mother at Eastbourne where they go on some easy climbs. During their visit Crowley takes five days to write The World's Tragedy. [56]

Crowley presents J.F.C. Fuller with a copy of the 1903 edition of The Star and the Garter with the inscription  "J.F.C. Fuller. from A.C. Feb 08". [Harry Ransom Center]

- Crowley publishes his second issue of the book Konx Om Pax.  

- Crowley's first edition of his book Amphora is privately published anonymously. Its epilogue contains an acrostic that by reading the first word of each line and then the last letter of each lines reveals the phrase: "The Virgin Mary I desire, but arseholes set my prick on fire." [56]   It is later republished, again anonymously, by Burns and Oates. This edition omits the Epilogue from the privately published edition.

J.F.C. Fuller publishes the second edition of his book The Star in the West.
