- Crowley is in Paris, France, where, in conjunction with "20 enthusiasts from the Latin Quarter," in defiance of the Prefect's authority, unveils a monument to Oscar Wilde by the sculptor Jacob Epstein. Prior to the unveiling of the scupture Crowley had sent a Manifesto to the Parisian newspapers. The sculpture, located in Père Lachaise Cemetery, was considered lewd due to its anatomically correct male anatomy. [Times]

- Crowley holds a Grand Tribunal at the O.T.O. Grand Council's "Court of Paris" where Vittoria Cremers is expelled from the Order for "Treachery, Theft, Embezzlement." Additionally, thirteen other accused brethren of the Order were tried for "crimes" including absenteeism and indifference. These included Nina Hamnett and R.L. Felkin, both of whom received warnings for being in "bad standing." A serious warning and reprimand were given to W.C. Minchin for "Breach of loyalty to order [and] attempting to seduce wife of a Bro. without his knowledge and consent. Phoebe Miller was expelled from the Order for "Exercise of her profession with the Order to prejudice of brethren, [and] Swindling." [318]
